How did you discover ACNL?

I have played AC since I first got WW as my first video game when I was 7. I remember getting my 3ds three years ago because I thought NL was going to come out then lol. I was so hyped when the release date came out I pinned my preorder receipt on my bulletin board and had a countdown till release, and three days before release they called and reminded me of my preorder and I completely fangirled out and on release day I waited outside GameStop and the same girl I talked to on the phone let me in to buy it ten minutes early :3 She just opened the door and smiled at me and was like, "Here for Animal Crossing?"

My son asked for it for Christmas, so I got it for him, he had been playing for about a week and right before New Years he was complaining that someone put their house right on top of his newly grown black roses, he had them for a day! Anyway I said let me see what you are playing .......... that was the end of that got my own copy and my own DS shortly after!
