How did you decorate your plaza?

I'm trying to find some inspiration for my plaza as my entire town is forest/northern woods themed. I'm not too sure what to do with it though as it's really close to my house and that of other villagers. Any ideas?

Mine is kind of bland...though I did use my existing paths to make a pattern around the town tree. For yours...maybe line the plaza with cedar trees? It'll be pretty at Christmas with the lights.

I was thinking that, I just hope I have room. Maybe put a holly bush in between and put a water path around the tree.

I don't have any decorations, besides just my normal path going around the tree. I saw someone put famous mushrooms around their tree though, I think that looked really nice and I'm considering doing the same (which is why I save all the mushrooms I find). I'd love to have something nice there, but I'm just annoyed to have my entire path storage taken up by ones I can't change :/ I use two or three in my house, only one for my path and the rest for clothes...

I have perfect apples and cedar trees around the sides of the event plaza. Added red,white and blue rose around the trees.
It looks really pretty during the winter. I also have tiles around the event plaza.

I don't touch my plaza.
My town is a modern, natural town, so the stone works perfectly.

As far as patterns around the tree goes, go look at Nammie's town.
Her town is like, perfect. You'll definitely get ideas there.

For mine I put my pattern around the tree and left gifts.

In one of my towns I added a pattern that says this way dreamers. with an arrow that goes to the pwp fence where the gifts are.

I have my path tiles all over my plaza, so it's completely pink! Then on the left side I have bushes, and flowers in a certain pattern all around. Looks pretty cool I think

I just have a simple candy path around my plaza I think it is super cute~

I decorated mine w/ red tile and a water path outline, now i'm working on adding blue hydragenas and breeding black and red roses.

I planted perfect peach trees and cedar trees around the plaza, and surrounded the plaza with pink tulips Also planted azalea bushes around.
