How did you decorate your campsite?

Hello! I was wondering how everyone decorated their campsite. Also where on their map they placed it? In a more secluded area? On the beach In the middle?
I myself am conflicted on placement. I had it on the beach and just moved it to the back of my map and I kind of miss how I had it.
This is my former campsite that I am tempted to redo.


I would love to see images of yours! The campsite is such a neat area to make cool layouts.

Mine is in the jungle made, and I wanted a digsite for a temple, so I combined all this with the campsite since it was already there to create an 1800's explorer inspired archaeological digsite camp

great job minimizing the space, but still giving it a camping feel!

i'm struggling to finalize my camping space tbh. idk if i should move it. because i decided to put it after a river and it totally limited my space.

I put mine right at the back of my map near a waterfall and put some of the log furniture, bonfire and tiki torches.

Also I forgot about the PC campsite sign so I'm going to put that in there too now!

I moved mine. It was on the front of my island and I didn’t like it there because I couldn’t place the camping sign properly. I put it in the back on a small third tier cliff. I put dirt paving and a campfire and the garden faucet and the log dining table and benches. There’s also a small pond up there too and some cedar trees flowers and weeds. And I put the camping sign at the base of the incline leading up to it. I’m quite happy with it. I don’t have any photos right now though

I terraformed a little cliff area for mine just right if the residents service. Decorated it with lots of weeds and white flowers so it looks quite natural.

When I first placed it down, it was kind of near a river on the starting piece of land you get with the rivers on the side but now that is near some pathway and fences so now I am moving it to a 'forest' section of my island where there is a lot of trees, dirt paths and some flowers it really makes it seem like a legit camping spot instead of just being next to some fencing and pathway

This is mine, it’s very simple, on top I have a hammock and a water pump, a garden gnome and two sided water fall.

Mine is in a secluded back portion of my island with a 2 tiered mountain and waterfall as its backdrop. I think I succeeded with furniture, branches, weeds and an assortment of "wild" looking flowers to make it look forest-y. Of course I have meticulously placed as many trees as possible, even though I didn't have an endless amount of space. There's also a discreet secret passage to a little fantasy valley that is hard to notice unless you study the island map. I'm really happy with how it's turned out and once my island is finished I will show it off here!

Mine is next to the river with a little strip of land behind it that drives me nuts whenever I'm jumping over from the other side of the river. Slapped a campsite sign on it and called it a day.

I have to admit that while I have a overall idea of how I want to build my island, I completely forgot about the campsite, but since I'm going to have an ancient temple area, I kinda like the digging site idea.

I wanted to have my campsite close to the airport. A while ago I changed the whole entrance area, removed all of the campsite decorations and built woods around it. I was planning on moving it eventually, but I wouldn't know where to, so maybe I'm just keeping it in the woods? At this point I feel like I don't need it and would rather get rid of it, it's kind of in the way.

It's right next to the beach, quite simple but I'm happy with it. ^^

Kid Cat's adorable - if you want to come over and talk to him just to get a sense of his dialogue lemme know
I don't see him working out as much as the other jocks and he likes to wander around town with a protein drink (soda? not sure) and just look at everything. Also see him in the museum a bunch squaring off with dinosaurs and bugs
