I'm looking for a bit of inspiration how to decorate around my town hall!
My town's kinda foresty, so if you have something like that please tell me! You can also just give me your DA and I'll check it out myself c: Or if you have pictures you can show them to me.
I kind of decorated around mine by accident...I have a villager house to one side by the cliff so I have a path running right next to the town hall, bushes as close to the town hall as I could plant them lining the path, then I've got a field of gold roses with the wheat PWP thing behind it. Since it's such a big building I couldn't really think of much to go behind there that wouldn't be partially hidden. Have put the path right around the town hall to try and blend it in. Then to the left of the town hall I have a little squared off section of roses with a water pump in the middle. It was more about making the area around it look look nice and then trying to blend it in
You could perhaps put a fountain or flower clock in front, followed with an arch of any type. On the opposite sides of my arch, I put my perfect native fruit on opposite sides of the arch. I would also decorate with bushes and flowers or water paths around as well. Here's my DA: 4100-6498-2568 (This is a WIP because my town isn't completed yet.)
I put a fountain in front of mine, but the flower clock can work just as well too. You can put a checkerboard pattern of bushes maybe, to fit the forest theme.
I put 2 fountains in front of mine with a path 3 tiles wide in between them. I put modern benches in front of the fountains but I plan on replacing them with the metal bench when I get them requested.
I put a small perfect fruit orchard around the town hall with a little sign advertising it, and a flower bed to the side to prevent a villager plot. my DA is in my sig if you want to see it, I'd love for you to visit
I tend to put little path plazas in front of mine....
I feel like the most basic, common thing to do is put the fountain in front of it (granted I've done it in one of my towns)
my other town I mixed it up and put bushes in a rectangle formation so that I couldn't get into the middle and put two flowers inside of it.
I have no idea for my last town though......
My designs are very, very basic I have bushes in front (I have no idea which order their in or what kinds they are anymore lol!) and then the flower arch close to the entrance! Trees and flowers too! I'm waiting to really design it once I get all my dreamies!
I put a flower clock next to my town hall, and an illuminated arch right in front of it. Looks pretty good, in my opinion! You're welcome to visit my dream town, it's in my signature
My decoration isn't very inspiring. I just placed some flowers on either side, and some trees here and there...
I also built the bell pwp nearby, and I like to imagine if we ever had an emergency town meeting, someone could ring the bell next to town hall, and call everyone there.
I made a courtyard in front of mine, with a fountain (yeah) surrounded by square topiaries. At the other end of the courtyard is a standee with the town motto on it.
I would have used the park clock instead of the fountain, but Town Hall already has a clock on it, so...
