My home neighborhood is Sunnyside, Queens in NY. Now that I live overseas from home it's a nostalgic name and also seems to fit perfect with a fun, foresty town full of cheerful animals!
Lucky it fits if I write it in Japanese, when I tried to write my town name in English on my profile here I realized I wouldn't have been able to name my town that if I was playing the English version!
I just really like chocolate truffles. I did not know there was a villager by that name, though. I feel like people may think I named it after her. lol;;
My town name is Escissia. The German-speaking users here might know where it comes from
Escissia is the German name for Vaniville Town in Pok?mon X/Y. I chose this name because it sounds cute in my opinion :3
When I got my hands on the GameCube version of Animal Crossing I just wanted to start playing and couldn't come up with a good name. That's why I named my character Mina (that's my nickname) and the town Minatown. Super creative! xD
When I started playing Wild World I asked myself: How would you call a place that makes you feel comfortable? Kariko was born and I'm still using this name. It's a homage to the small village in "A Link to the Past" which is called Kakariko.
My main towns name is SakuraV, which is short for Sakura Valley. A roleplay world I made up years ago to roleplay in with my friends. My second town is named X-mas, for Christmas Town. Its a christmas themed town I've been working on since October.
I needed a town name, so I was all like, "Hey, Pokemon has lots of town names!" and the first Pokemon games I thought of were Zeta and Omicron, so I looked at a map of the region in it and picked Varlox as my town name.
I'm terrible with names. I like the Lord of the Rings, and I come from a place called WiltSHIRE. (lots of Shires in England). I want my town to be peaceful and pretty like the Shire from LOTR, so it works c:
