how creative are ur town names?

my current/cycling town right now is Bagel! i still love it so much haha, but probably because i got attached to the first set of villagers i had. when i reset i plan on naming it Ivalice lol. it's not the most creative, but it's a name that i like listening to, but i'm still not completely set on it heh.

My current now name is Mignon.....its French for cute......because that is what my town is gonna be......see what I did there....hehehe

Mine's elsweyr, shamelessly stolen from tes :p But it was really close to being witchway, which is a stupid pun I made up :3

Acre. It's short and sweet and well.. my town is set on many acres of land :)

My current town name is Allagash and its named after the town of Allagash, Maine and some of the wilderness that surrounds that particular area. Plus I just really liked the name because I thought it was different. I looked on the dreamsuite the other night to see if there were any other towns with this name and there was only one.

My old towns name was Rosewyn and I got it off of the Animal Crossing town name generator. I remember looking at one point to see how many others had this town name and I think there were 10 other Rosewyns.

My town is called Lunette. Lunette is an architectural term for the half curcle painting in some buildings. It doesn't always need to be a painting but yea. Arc the main character is a pun on "Arc"hitecture... Yea..

My Wild World town was called Appleton, and my City Folk town was called Totton, named after where my family and I lived at the time. We reset after about a year, and played on a number of different towns. A few I can remember are Rosewood, Idonia and Mistwood.

My first New Leaf town was Rosewood, and then I had North, and now Melchoir. I'm not even sure why I chose the name, but it sounds pretty to me, if a little mysterious.

My town name is Mortmain, after the Mortmain mountains in A Series of Unfortunate Events books. The mountains were a really peaceful place, hence why I named my town after them. Later I found out that the word mortmain is a legal term referring to permanent ownership, and that makes it even better!

Is it bad for all my previous towns in Wild World, City Folk, and now in New Leaf it's the same town name: Calimoon. I'm not very imaginative haha.

I wanted to name one of my towns Jinae in New Leaf, because I think it sounds pretty - but the weeby-ness of it all kind of discouraged me, and I ended up naming my first town Bastille, second town (created yesterday, lmao) Rosmarin, and the cycle town is Roschen. The name of the cycle town doesn't really matter to me but I wish I went with Jinae for my main, looking back on it. Or Lunchbox because Lunchbox is friggin' cute. (I would have named my second town one of those two names, but neither fit it - I'm actually going for a theme in that one. Sort of. I want it to look like a city and I like the lore behind rosemary, as well as how pretty it sounds in other languages besides my native tongue)

I'm literally only person who named their town, Bellocan. to my knowledge atleast, according to the dream suite.
I haven't checked Oracion yet though, I'm sure there are a bunch of those around.

My town name is Patra, with accents over the a's. I made it up and my previous town was also named Brooklyn because it had two rivers! I have no idea if that's normal or not...

My WW town was Sakura and my mayor was origami.

My NL town is Everleaf (made up of 2 words from a town name generator) and my mayor's name is Plum.

My town's name in NL is Nuvema… I couldn't think of any good names at the time but I don't really mind

I named my rainbow themed town Iris, after the Greek personification of the rainbow... and my other town is called Wishdrop because it used to be for cycling. //shrug. Not all that creative, but I like them.

pretty uncreative- candyland, but the town name i've decided for when i restart is siempre which is pretty uncommon i think! it means "always" in spanish.

My first WW town I named Serenade, at the time it was all I could think of that fit and didn't feel too clunky. As I added towns and versions I've stuck to a loose musical/song type theme for all my town names, with a number of them repeating in different versions. In WW I had Serenade, Anthem and Requiem, in GC I had Aria, Madrigal, Ghazial, and something else I don't remember and two of my islands were Dirge and Shanty. CF was originally Sonnet and then Anthem and then Requiem. And my original town in NL was Anthem, now my main town is Serenade and my other towns are Aria, Anthem and Madrigal. At one time there were quite a few DAs for towns named Anthem, it's far less now. I like my "themed" names and they've worked well for me
(I also had an NL town called Narnia that was a super planned out theme town for the chronicles of Narnia that I gave up on due to hiatus and never made a da for and wish I had finished, and also one named Arable that was going to be a farm theme town but I scrapped it pretty quickly)
