With the GameCube app announced, it’s a possibility that the GameCube Version, the very beginning of Animal Crossing across the world, would make a comeback to our modern consoles. However, due to its time limit being between 2000 and 2030 and the fact the game uses extra components (memory cards as travel, GBA connectivity, NES games within game), how would Nintendo emulate this game? What would they add or remove?

One suggestion I would make is that the remodeling restriction for Nookington’s (where you need to have a shopper from another town buy from your town) will be dropped since it’s not possible to get visitors from another town visit yours.

I require no compromises in its greatness and progression there of! I want to see online multiplayer worked into the old system with the train, just like wild world really, where we need friend codes and such, it would be easy. Leave the nook codes in and everything the same as it was in the game. Ive been very disappointed in the past...but I WANT the acre transitions to be gone like all other AC. Yet because the game works with them so heavily; have some kind of digital notifier that disappears fast when you cross an acre line. Well thats it. *or maybe in the map screen it becomes more obvious which acre youre in.

It’d probably be no different than the N64 games that use the N64 Transfer Pak work. They just won’t have that functionality and AC will probably just have everything unlocked for us much like Super Mario Advanced 4 Super Mario Bros 3 did with the e-Card levels or the 3DS having the Surfing Pikachu mini game automatically unlocked in Yellow.
