How can I visit other towns?

I tried talking to the monkey at the train station and it's doesn't work. Yes I have internet. :c

First you need to have friends
then your friends need to open up their gates

Add my Friend Code, you can come visit any time you would like!

Add the persons friend code & make sure they add yours too. You'll have to keep in contact with that person & ask them to open their gates. Talk to the monkey again & ask him to visit a far way town! From there you'll be able to visit that persons town. They'd have to be online playing too. So just make sure you're both playing at the same time.
