How can I make villagers move out?

I have a few I don't like (hopkins, Naomi) and I want to get them to leave.

Best surefire way is amiibo. If that’s not an option, time travel for campsite villagers to then time travel to select the villagers you want to replace. Third will be time traveling for clouds to pop.

If you're not planning on time travelling, the best method is to wait for a campsite villager and force them to kick out Hopkins or Naomi. You can use the campsite reset method to change who they ask to leave.

Otherwise, there's no other way but to wait for them to leave or use Amiibo

I got a camper today. I read somewhere that you can save before talking to them and if they mention about replacing a villager you don't want out, you just reset and try again. Btw, can that villager who is moving be invited by someone else or are they lost?
