How can I get pavement for my town?

I've been to a few of my friend's towns and noticed that some had pavement, I was wondering how I could get it I know from where I read it said something about QR codes, I just wanted to make sure~

You get it through QR code blogs/websites or making your own ^^ When you go to the 'designs' tab, you can place a pattern on the floor ^^

Yep! That's the machine you want. It reads the QR codes of patterns designed by other people and adds it to your pattern inventory.

No worries! If you have any more questions about QR Codes and patterns, feel free to ask! For now, just remember that you're only allowed to have 10 designs in your inventory at once. You can save patterns with Mabel if you talk to her, but if it's deleted from your inventory, any patterns placed on the ground will change to the new one.

Another way to get other people's designs is by visitting their dream address. In the dream, you can talk to Wendell and get the designs from him. I got my path from nookling, and I was so happy because I never had to unlock the QR machine with my other character!
