Hi everyone,

Recently, I have noticed that there are areas in my town with no grass at all , these areas are getting muddy and I don't like it... =(
How can I fix it ? I don't run in my town for weeks now but I can't see any difference yet .

There are dirt spots in your town that are permanent. If those spots have been there since you started your town then they're permanent and weren't created by grass wear.

Some dirt spots are pernament, and don't go away no matter what you do. I suggest you put some public works in the place of those dirt spots, if they're becoming bothersome. They're like the rocks in a way, there's no way to get rid of them no matter how hard you try. I guess that's what makes the game more realistic looking, so that's probably why they kept the dirt patches in.

Your town comes with several dirt permanent dirt spots but if the dirt areas look like they're a result of walking then it could be grass wear. Snow regains the grass/snow the most, then rain. Putting down flowers helps and watering them helps a bit more but from my experience, the rate of grass wear is higher than regrowth from watering flowers. I used to have every since area covered with flowers and I would water them everyday but it would leave dirt patches down the areas that I walked. If you walk over a tile, even one that has a watered flower on it, it counts as being walked over. Putting up paths helps because it hides the dirt paths.

ah ok ...Maybe there is just nothing I can do to fix it =( I can't remember If I had these dirt spots since the day I started the game or if they appeared later

there are qr codes that are the same grass design, google my friend c:
i found one yesterday that i'm about to use. the only thing that sucks is that its a path so you cant plant flowers lol

Time traveling also creates grass wear faster, I find. So if you do time travel, that could help your grass wear grow.

All you can really do is stop running around town. Also, planting flowers over the patches is supposed to help, but both methods take a long time.

If you don't like the dirt. You can use paths to hide them or PWP's and flowers. Flowers can help the grass grow faster. But when it recovers don't walk on the path that you are trying to grow back.

that's odd-- biggest boost to re-growing my grass that i ever experienced was when i time-travelled like six weeks into the future, i swear it was virtually all re-grown. maybe it depends on villager friendships and whether your villagers are skipping for joy around town in your absence, or instead watering the grass with their heartfelt tears... ;)

You can look up your shape grass as a QR and cover them up if they bug you too much, or like mentioned before you can cover them with a PWP because there will always be a few muddy matched no matter what you do. I like grass deterioration because it makes me feel the game is a bit more realistic.

From my knowledge, simply avoid stepping on the areas with the wear and plant flowers on them. Wait a few months and they will eventually grow back <:

Thanks everyone :) I'm going to look for grass qr and just wait for the grass to grow back.
I can't use pwp to hide it because the biggest area is just in front of my house :(
I don't time travel because I am afraid to lose one of my dreamies , so I am just going to wait, plant flowers ,and avoid stepping on these areas.
