How are you Sailor Moon fans liking the new series?

How do you guys like the new series so far? How do you think it compares to the older one? Do you like the style it's drawn in? And of course, who is your favorite character? (✿◠‿◠)
Being a HUGE sailor moon fan, I'm pretty sure I would like anything they came up with. I still haven't decided if I like the newer one or the older one more. They both have their pros and cons. I like the style, although I think that sometimes the characters' limbs can look a bit noodle-ish. My favorite character overall is Tuxedo Mask. I mean, come on. {SWOON} I think my favorite sailor senshi is Sailor Venus. Either her or Sailor Pluto. I dunno.
What do you guys think?

I like the new show.
It just lacks expression in the characters design.
I know they were trying to be threatening and dark like the manga, but it makes the character design way too boring for my tastes. And I always like the expressive character design in not only SM, but in other anime in general. Makes the character design pop out and gives them live.
The only expressive character in SMC, is so far Luna. But it's a given, because....cat....And some parts in the 2nd episode, Usagi was a bit expressive. but other than those characters, that's it.
Oh, and episode 3 was hilarious for all the wrong reasons.

The art is beautifully detailed, however the animators clearly panicked with the deadline. Apparently some of the animation has/is being sent off to be done by a less experienced animating company or something like that, so it's not great in some places where the heads and faces change size and shape. I'm slightly shocked to see that happening so soon though, as they did have 2 years for this. Makes me wonder what they were doing in that whole time. Towards the end would've been a bit more understandable, seeing as they haven't finished making all of the episodes yet.

I feel like the CGI is slightly overdone in their transformations, and I agree with a lot of people who say it's distracting.

Lack of expression in the faces is another problem because they've tried too hard to make them look flancy and pretty. Mainly because the eyes are so huge, it means that the nose and mouth are too small to show any expression. This is probably the reason for the low level of comedy.

I'm loving the new series so far though, and I don't think it's as bad as some people are saying it is. It'll never beat the original, but it's still enjoyable I think. Earlier today I saw the full 'Moon Pride' music video (it'll probably be taken down soon) and I have to say that it looked amazing. There's one part near the end where Venus turns around and her hair goes over her face as it probably would in real life. It's something I don't see often in animation for some reason. If you haven't seen it already, then go watch it before it's taken down.

I like it and think it's cute, but the CGI transformations are kinda weird and out of place. XD
