House upgrade

On average how long does it take you to upgrade from the tent to your first home?
And how did you make enough bells to do so?

This is the easiest and cheapest house upgrade. It gets ridiculous the bigger you want your house.
It should only take a few minutes to do so. I went around and collected shells and fruit and sold that.
You could also shake the trees and find some bells, furniture, or bee hives to sell.

Took me like an hour for the first upgrade
for the whole thing i won a 100 million bell giveaway on here woo but i cba to upgrade it fully until i have decided on rooms

for the very first one from tent to house shouldn't take very long. You can pick up shells and fruit and fossils and sell them. Break rocks to look for ore and coins, etc. Just make sure that you DON'T SELL your first perfect fruit. Plant them so that you have more later.

After that in a few days you'll have the island, you can make money in the morning and evenings (check exact times and tips online search) for rare beetles with bell ordinance on if you want…

and then once you get a little more advanced try selling turnips on the boards to someone who has a high sell.
