House placement advice?

I just found a good map for my town, but I don't know where to place my houses.

So I think my two options are:
a) Put two houses on the upper left corner of the section under the river, and two on the upper right side.
b) Put two houses beside eachother in the area under the bridge. (idk if I should have them right beside eachother or a bit far away) Other two houses go somewhere else (where?)
btw I don't want to put any houses on the left side of the river.

I'd say A because that spot is by the waterfall. It's a very nice square section of land and looks even/symmetrical ^^
