house layout ideas?

so i'm upgrading my house and i thought i had some cool rooms planned, but i'm not sure about them now. i wanted to ask, how have you guys laid out your houses? like what rooms/themes do you have??
my house is mostly cabin-themed, i have the cabin exterior and furniture i only have two rooms so far, my main room and a lil upstairs kitchen. i'm probably gonna make a bedroom next and possibly a bathroom??

I really try to any any random theme going on in my house. The exterior so far is all metal with a purple roof, but the themes are basically different furniture sets thrown together in the main room as the living room, Sleek & modern furniture sets upstairs, and a 7-Eleven shop in the back room. Since you're going for a cabin theme, I'd suggest looking for furniture that would fit in a cabin. like possibly the cabana series, Rocco series, exotic series, (maybe) modern wood series, and ranch series. If you'd like to make a checklist of what you may like, you can use MoriDB to make a little checklist of items. Like I mentioned, use different furniture with the sets to make a better themed room. I'm not the best with furniture, but this is the best advice I could give.

Do you like to visit dream towns? My Cherish town might give you ome ideas. It's in my signature. I also have a town called Gables with mayor Anne. I don't have the code off hand, but you could look up by town name. There's some nice rooms that might give you inspiration.

I like making my houses look like actual real life houses..so I do make little kitchens, bathroom, living rooms, and bedrooms, etc. my whole town is creepy gothic so I just made my interiors all sort of creepy cute. I also like to maintain my houses with specific colors. Like one of my houses is cabin/ rustic looking blue, I have another that?s pink/ purple ..another that?s white and pink and also one that?s mostly black.

I am building a regular house, although it will be full of books since it is home to a bookworm. I was thinking of building a study, but then I realized her whole house is basically going to be a study. So maybe an indoor Zen garden where she can go and read??? Idk. I am following this thread for inspiration.

upstairs: bedroom
downstairs: living
left room: study
back room: kitchen
left room: bathroom

my alts houses are themed though
One is a cabin theme because it's close the campsite where the cot and firepit and hammock are set up at

the other one is a modern futuristic space themed kinda place because irl i'm obessed with outerspace so i wanted to theme it after SpaceX and NASA
