Homeless Villagers?

Hey Everyone,

I have an issue happening in my town that I am not sure what to do with. I have googled the topic briefly to find out if it's a common issue and have turned up zero results. Help!
I have an animal, who used to live in my town, that has suddenly re-appeared but she never moved back in and she is not staying in the campsite. I have seen her wandering around multiple times this week but she has no house in my town. Every time that I talk to her, she has a normal villager conversation with me as though she lives there. I thought that maybe I was going crazy and just missed her house, but I have double and triple checked my villager list next to my map and she's not even listed on it.
Anyone have any idea what's up?

Villagers who have moved out can reappear on your mainstreet and wonder about; if it's actually in the main part of your town..... Well that is definetely odd. haha

Heh, I did not know that.... Yeah she's only appeared on Main Street so that's it I guess.

Beardo has been doing that lately. It's been 3 days and he hasn't left yet. I mean, I have 3 shops on my main street. HOW ARE YOU STILL HERE.

I never did like him for some reason. I kinda ignored him when he moved in and I swear like 5 days later he moved out lol

Yeah, this happens. I have five former villagers on my main street. You'll see them in shops and the museum too.

They don't stop coming around your Main Street until you've cycled through 16 villagers after they leave, I believe.

Yep! It's just an old villager of yours that hangs out in main street. That would have been very odd if this was a villager in your town roaming around rather than main street. You'll be seeing more of your old villagers once others in your town move.
