Hmm, no topiaries despite no weeds?

I have two towns- one is my main from time of the game's release, and that town is "perfect," with no weeds. My mayor unlocked the topiary PWPs, no prob. My alt is less than a week old, and it has no weeds, but it isn't perfect. Leif gave the mayor of that town a rose sofa, instead of the PWPs. What gives?

Seems a lot of people are having this issue. Try TTing a day ahead and see if the topiaries are in your PWP list?

:O That's odd. Maybe it has to do with the state of your town because it's new? I wouldn't think that would be the case, but I'd do what Bearica said and see if they're in the list tomorrow.

Yes, it is odd! I'm trying out Bearica's advice now. I'll keep y'all posted!

Bearica, thank you for the advice. I TTed back a day, and there they were! Must be some kind of dialogue oversight that makes it seems as if the PWPs aren't unlocking. And as a happy little bonus, I was able to grab an extra Weeding Day prize in doing this. Woop, cosmos fan!
