HL: Soruce Or just normal HL?

Okay, so I'm having troubles deciding between this

Overall what do you guys think is the better deal and which I should buy?

This is like Counter Strike. It also has a Source version. What I've read in those links, source probably just gives better graphics. If you want the better quality, it may be better to spend a bit more. I did when I got Counter Strike Source.

If you don't care about fancy looks, then by all means, get the regular version.

i assume source is the high-def version, to put it bluntly.

there may be some gameplay mechanics that just work better on the original engine, but it's your call, ultimately.

the changes shouldn't be too severe. just depends on how well you can run the game, imo.
