Hiding inventory?

So my complete inventory is totally visible to anyone who looks at it, and that goes for a lot of other users as well, but for some users you can only see what they have active in their inventory. I've seen some users who seem to have an "inactive" item that's visible but I think that's because they have it set to both "active" and "hidden" so it simply doesn't show up in their actual lineup.

Could anyone explain to me how an inventory is made hidden? I thought maybe it had something to do with clicking the drop-down bar so all the inactive purchases go away from public view, but I can't check cause I don't want to sign out lol.

When you go into your inventory and configure "settings" there's two boxes, "active" and "hidden"

"active" = collectible shows up in lineup
"active" + "hidden" = collectible shows up as active in your inventory, but does not show in your inventory or lineup
"hidden" = collectible shows up as inactive and also hidden
neither = collectible shows up as inactive in your inventory

Hmm so I wonder if they all have to be set as hidden in order for them to be hidden from public view?

@Crash I saw that your inventory was mostly hidden, how did you do it?

Yeah they just have to be set to hidden, without active checked and they'll be put into inactive purchases where no one else but you can see them

It kinda sucks but you have to do it one by one for each item LOL

Oh wow that sucks, I have 100+ collectibles so it would prob take forever for me to hide all of them lol

I'll prob leave them visible, I just feel bad cause I have lots of people making offers for collectibles that I don't want to sell ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ

exactly what @BungoTheElf said, you gotta hide them all individually ;-; it's not really worth it if you have a ton of them, it took me a looong time

That sucks, but thanks for letting me know anyways! I've been wondering for a while.
