As somebody who has already gotten the title, really, the main thing to focus on are those roommate pairs and taking 20+ minutes on a home (the wallpaper/flooring stat). I had to max those both out in order to get the title as quick as I did, which was a month after HHP came out.

I would say maybe about 200. I am at 120 and still at the Legendary Designer.
