hhhh is it just me hearing this

sooo y'all know about town tunes naturally....
well, 2 things i've noticed about them:
1. on villagers birthdays/when villagers are happy, they dance around and sing the town tune (surely, everybody noticed this)
2. when you open a door it rings like the town tune????

yeah the 2nd one confuzzles me,,,, but i've noticed every time i open a door it sounds -SORTA- like my town tune, and when im on other islands and open doors it doesn't sound like opening doors on my island.
Anyway, now that I've noticed it, i wonder if anyone else noticed it? Do the doors seriously play the town tune when you open them? cuz that'd be kinda funny lol

seriously tho, try opening doors on your island - any doors - and see if it sounds familiar

Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure the doors do play the town tune. I remember noticing it in New Leaf too.

Lots of areas in the game uses the town tune, when entering buildings, when first talking to a villager/NPC, and when they happily sing.

I usually play with my game muted so I'd never noticed this, but it's a super cute detail!!
