I've played these games starting in 2005 with Wild World. I was the only person in my class who was interested/had the money to own a DS at the time. I played online a little when City Folk came around, but that was just to get some handouts; still nobody that was interested in the series or the Wii for that matter. I lost interest about a year or two after City Folk, but a month or two before New Leaf came out I picked up interest again. STILL didn't have any friends that could afford the system, but at least they were interested. I built up a loose circle of online friends that I would talk to about NL and various 3DS games though. I did a lot of trading online at the time and abused the heck out of the turnip trade. Eventually my interest waned again and I put the game away. I didn't really play much of NL when it first came out, and even sold it fairly soon after. I'm back now though and am having a lot of fun. Hoping that participating in some of the activities here will add more fun onto that and maybe even bring back some of those feelings I experienced back in NL. Hope you're all doing well!

Thanks! While I'm not sure I can choose a favorite off the top of my head, I might have to say Ribbot, for the sole reason that he somehow manages to make his way into my towns either right at the start, or within a couple of weeks. Must be stockholm syndrome for the inevitable machine uprising.
