Hows it going guys :)

So i am OMG, so late to the game. of course had heard about AC but i didn't really think about messing around with it till i hacked the ol' 3ds about 2 months ago and started messing around with ACNL. Unfortunately, i am limited to what i could do with that because of router settings. I'm sure i could have messed around with the 3ds settings but i decided to buy a copy of NH on my switch one, cause i really did enjoy playing around with NL. That being said i dont have really any friends on nintendo or really any console for that matter. To be far, im pretty old and have mostly stuck to single player games. I would like to make some friends because it does seem like an important part of the game.

Like i said before i am really new to AC but it is actually quite enjoyable and a little addictive to be honest. i would like to get he most out of it. so yeah add me as a friend.

New Leaf was a great game to start off with in the series, I hope you enjoy New Horizons just as much :). It definitely has a bit of a different feel but I think it's still enjoyable.

Hi, I also am pretty old and have stuck to single player games. I had my first visit to another member's island this month after joining this community. It's a great! Has taken me a while to figure things out both on this site and in the game. Am still learning. I'm up for a visit if that is something you are interested in although this week is fairly busy for me IRL. Just Direct Message me to set a day/time. I usually play a couple of hours in late afternoon and again in later evening but this week have only been on in evenings. I am in Florida, EDST.

Welcome to the forum! I am also older, and have found a wonderful home here! Check out what TBT has to offer as far as events go! That is how I have met some really great friends!
 
Hya! And welcome to TBT! I've joined the forums only a little over a week ago as of today, so I'm new here too. When my island in ACNH is finished, I should consider adding you my friend list so we can visit each others' islands.

It's not necessary to "finish" your island before having visitors. I got some great ideas by visiting and even those who have been around for a while mentioned to me they got ideas from mine (unfinished). I've not met anyone in this community who posted anything negative of anyone's island, finished or not. But I do understand you may not want to be interrupted by visits while you are hard at work! Welcome 😊

Yeah, I mostly wanted to wait just to make it more presentable first. That being said, my house is pretty much finished. And I do have this plaza I created recently with all sorts of playable instruments, Gyroids moving and making sounds to the music and a DJ's turntable playing "Drivin'", one of this game's secret songs (And one of my personal favorite K.K. songs). I could show those off if I invited someone sooner than later. And besides, I could always invite them again in the future when the island is finished, come to think of it. You've got a good point there. Maybe I will share my friend code soon after all! I'll have think it over a little. Either way, thanks for the tip!
 
Welcome!! I am mostly a new leaf enjoyer but I hope u enjoy New Horizons as well! Like Princess said it's different but fun in its own ways ✌️
