...is my favorite musician of all time. His music is amazing, weird, avant-garde, brilliant, ridiculous, and over-the-top. And c'mon, he's an albino who looks like Santa Claus and plays over 50 INSTRUMENTS PROFICIENTLY!!!

If any of you guys are remotely interested in Brazilian or avant-garde jazz, Hermeto should be right up your alley. I LOVE his music... seriously, he has been a huge inspiration on me as of late. The man is a genius, and perhaps the greatest musician ever. Bold claim, sure, but can make many people play THEIR OWN BEARDS, or perhaps use live pigs as percussion on stage, squeezing them so they grunt in rhythm? He is a genius. Just thought you guys might enjoy his stuff...

His YouTube stuff is inferior to what's available on CD, though, and I happen to have two of his best albums (though it took me a while to get them, as I imported 'em from Argentina)... they are, together with Jobim's Stone Flower, my favorite albums ever. One of the videos I have on Youtube, "Santo Antonio", is an Hermeto cover, btw.

But yeah. Listen, read, enjoy... and if anyone is interested, I can post some of my favorite tracks from his CDs.
