It seems that i can't dream via the dream suite, how do i fix this??????? Is Nintendo network down right now??

Okay, it just keeps loading and i have to switch the wifi off to get off the screen.

I haven't updated my game to the second update, could that be it?

In my 5th town I got the dream suite I had problems with the dream suite a few weeks ago.
Sent player 3 in to get the address and it didn't work. The player got stuck on the bed and it was stuck in loading mode.
The 3DS was a NEW one so I had to power off. Tried 5 times and gave up. The island and visiting players worked fine.
Tried 2 hours later and the dream suite worked.

Do you have the parental control unlocked for the dream suite? That can cause problems. I've read a few posts where players couldn't use the dream suite and it was because they didn't have everything unlocked.

I have the same problem as you rn. I guess i should wait it out? I have an old ds so i could flick the wifi switch but i probably am causing myself unnecessary worry and should just wait it out.

And I do have everything unblocked ;w;

Oh I should probably mention- it's when i try to visit dreams, updating my own address went fine.

i think it might be because you haven't updated your game yet.bwhen i came back from my hiatus, i couldn't do anything that required connecting to the internet, since i hadn't updated.

yeah you can't connect to the internet unless you have installed the welcome amiibo update (so you can't open your gates or use the dream suite).

it's quite unfortunate but it's understandable why they did it.

I do have the welcome amiibo update, i was talking about the 1.5 update.

I've been lurking around the Animal Crossing Wikia, and I found this quote:

Existing dream addresses are not compatible with the update. A new address must be generated at the Dream Suite to share a dream town, and addresses now contain letters in addition to numbers.

So your problem may be the town you're trying to visit may have an old dream address? Or perhaps you could try updating your own then you'd be able to visit others?
