I heard a villager say that Merengue was moving and she pinged, but I was leading Felecity to my house and we were behind bushes. I missed her ping because I couldn't reach her! So will she ping again? I love her a lot and I really don't want to lose her! :c

usually when this happens to me i exit the game w/o saving first and then the villager will ping again, idk if they'll ping a different day or later on.

Yes, she may ping again if you wait some minutes. What you can also do is save and quit, and when you load up your file she'll ping as soon as she sees you.

Don't worry, they ping you every time they see you (for the first time that day or if you hide for 5/10 minutes and run in front of her).
You will get many opportunities to stop her, if she was chosen by the game today to move then you will have another 4 days before she goes inor boxes. Don't worry

yes, they never ping me when I hear the moving rumor, i always have to save and restart (sometimes more than once) before they'll ping...
