Ok so I received Marcie from another town well I mean I talked to her and she agreed. I TBT back a day and a few hours. Today I ttd to the original date and Marcies plot didn't appear (If I did get Marcie I'd have 9 villagers) and I bought Molly and ttd and she appeared???

Check your mailbox to see if they left you a letter saying that they cannot move in. That could happen sometimes for an unknown reason

It could also be that since you have 8 villagers, someone else might be moving in. In that case you will have to wait until they have moved in
