Do i really need to donate 20 REAL PAINTINGS to get the second floor to the museum?

Nooo you don't! You have to give at least one piece of art, one bug, one fish and one fossil, and in total there must be 20 pieces in the whole museum!
If you have like 17 fossils, 1 bug, 1 fish and 1 painting it's fine.
