Hey you guys. I have finally come to the realization that I have to reset my game after having it for at least two years. Would some one please help me start the process tonight and let me drop some stuff off as well as bells? I really hate to impose but I can't take my town any more! I have a horrible layout and villager set.

Also, does any one have any starting over tips? How many times you reset? What is a great layout? What should I expect?

I've reset 5 times and I always look for a river that flows almost straight across, preferably with town hall above the river, and a long portion of beach for ocean fishing. If the beach splits almost in half, it's probably not a good layout, I look for one half that is much larger than the other so I don't need to switch between beaches. I like the event plaza to be in the northern half of the town but that's entirely up to you. You should expect a slow start, even with all of your old bells and items. Upgrading your house will be a pain and unlocking shops and upgrades will be especially tedious. I found that getting shampoodle was incredibly important so I ended up time traveling for it whoops x3 I would take all of your stuff for you, but my town's super full lol

i'd offer my help but my house/museum storage is overflowing rn. i will say that when i re-set i made sure i loved everything about my town map/layout/fruit/not too many pondsetc.(stuff that would bother me tbh) before i decided on selecting it. it depends on each person what they think is a great layout, but if you really want to landscape and fill your town with lots of PWPs just make sure you have enough space to do so. starter villagers don't matter imo and it's actually nice getting villagers i don't like at first so i can put my desired villagers in great spots.

good luck on the re-setting!

hi ! :D you can drop stuff on mine if you'd like; (preferably on the beaches) ^^

and for resetting, it's all up to your liking and it's quite easy to simply reset over and over again until you get villagers that you like c: ...at least that's what i did :D

though i'd reccomend not sticking with those layouts that have a villager's house either right in front or very very close to the town hall/retail D:
that's probably the only piece of advice i can give you haha ^^;

(i'll add your friend code now so just hmu if you want my gates to be opened)

That would be so amazing! I would be so grateful if you could hold my things for awhile! I will certainly tuck them in an out of the way place like the beach. Do you have a place that I could place some hybrid flowers?

I'll add you

there's a little space to the edges of my town that can hold the flowers. c:

but i'm doing a little plot resetting for a villager atm, so i'll just vm you when i'm done. ^^

Sounds perfect I just packed up all my worldly goods and said goodbye to Alice
