Help with rocks!

Is there anyway I can destroy the pain in my butt rocks? I could have sworn that in my other town someone moved on top of 1 and it destroyed it.

Can you create a new person and move their house on top of a rock then delete them?

You can't destroy rocks, sadly. They are all permanent. There is only one 'fake' rock a day from which you can get an ore, but that fake rock is temporary renews every day at a different spot. Otherwise, there is no way of really moving rocks, other than hacking I think.

Aw so the "moving on top of a rock then deleting the person" wouldn't work

I have these 2 really annoying rocks that are in the way of my pathing

You can remove a rock by building either the police station or campsite directly one space north of the rock, and the rock will disappear when the police station is completed or a camper occupies the campsite, but of course building those PWPs in that spot may not be ideal for your town. Unfortunately, there is no other PWP that works for this and you can't use a character's house to delete a rock.

Yeah not very ideal building those since I've built the camp site and 1 of the rocks are right in front of the town hall

I don't really know if you can remove rocks, but personally when I attempted building my mayor's house after resetting my town, I purposely made sure it was over a rock, and Nook told me that it was getting in the way, thus I can't build at said spot.

If I could have made new characters to remove rocks, I so would lol. They usually ruins my paths and plans of my town.

Ok another question. If I hack to remove these rocks will it mess up my town? I really don't want too but if it's the only way and if won't mess up my town then I would do it. Cause I've seen people say if the go to a DA of a hacked town it can corrupt their game?

I didn't know this. Good to know because I want to build a camp in one of my towns and there is a rock a few spaces from where I want it! I have been putting it off trying to figure out where else I can put it.

Frankly, I wouldn't really recommend hacking to begin with, since it really could ruin your save data, and in a sense -- it's cheating. One of the things that make AC so special is that you don't really get to choose anything -- but live your live in the game according to what's given to you. ^^"

I don't think I'll be hacking anyway. I get to nervous even if I know everything is backed up heck I got nervous transferring my 3ds to my new 1 cause I was transferring my town

I can understand. Rocks can be a pain.

Perhaps you can be creative and plant trees/flowers or put some patterns that distract the eye away from the rock. That is how I have managed to live with some of mine. In one of my towns for example, I built a hot spring then planted some trees and bamboos then added some flowers and lucky clovers around and can barely see the blinking rock. When I do take notice of it, it somewhat complements the whole the area! In one area, I have added a row of flowers and the rock is included. I can barely notice it.

thank! I'll probably plan it out some and then go through the a lot of DA's so I can see what a lot of people did with/how to hide the rocks

Haha, well sadly I'm not even sure you can hack on the New one. I wish the RAM editor worked because I would have loved to move some PWP's around but otherwise, I guess it's better to just play the game normally.
