Heyy Evvie,unfortunately I'd agree with the others for now but I think you have potencial for the future! Just keep it up, you can do it! Ganbatte :D
-and pls check out viorie's speedpaints on yt if you wanna expand with headshot paintings, I'd switch to 1layer too, I know that's not easy at the beginning but the earlier you start the earlier you learn it! :)-

not sure if critique is allowed here, but here comes some lame stuff:

I think your eye placement is often a bit arkward. I feel like you don't have the right feel for the placement yet, if you draw the eyes just play around with the placement (copy, paste, transform) and see what's good. I think your lines for face and clothes have improved a lot on your ciel piece! The face overall could need some more bold shading, mainly under the hair strands, nose, over the eyes and under the neck. Better use a silky red/pink for skin shadows, feel free to browse through some art and pick the colors from there. As for the right eye, I think the shading in it is too blurry. Make it more bold again! I figured that many newer artists tend to blur shadows completely out, but that's no good. Oh and about the eyes, I think it's supposed to be your personal style but the way you make them... I personally don't like them soo much because they really stand out from the face, but they are actually supposed to be part of the face and to fit in well, if that makes sense ^^ also I'd draw hair strands over the eyes and not under. The hair shading looks a bit messy, it's good that you made the strokes along the flow of the hair but make sure that the shading isn't wobbly.. ughh how to say...

I only used the brush I gave you for that, it needs a lot of precision, so try not to just make some strokes and wing it, think carefully about every stroke you make! For example, on your ciel picture she shadow strokes on the hair just randomly ends on the top, it does look kinda weird, it doesn't flow well together with the outline you made, and I'd color the lines in a darker hue than the base color, for example the eyefolds and eye outlines. I hope all that makes sense... hopefully I was able to help you a bit! I'm sorry if that's not what you looked for ^^'''

OH GOSH NOT THE ONE LAYER AHAAAAA

i hate doing single layer because they're just so hard and if you mess up YOU MESS UP HARD. Plus, how does 1 layer make it better? :o not sure since you didn't cover it :3[/quote]

That's really confusing e.e

Thank you for the advice! Some was a bit confusing especially the last part, but thank you for the input! ouo

pfft why is everyone so scared of 1layer? I feel just fine with it, no rather I REALLY start to fall in love with that? ; O ; with that exactly can you mess up? Pengu told me that too, but I don't understand!XD

UHH why is it better? umm well that's a good question XD it's just an average thing for painting to do it on one layer or at least only a few... uhh I like about it that you can't accidentally paint on the wrong layer, you don't get confused with them if you have like +10 (I totally end up in a mess if they are +10) and you can blend things well together, for example over the lines, define them, merge them together with the paint and idk I'm not that advised with those things yet ^^''

oop I'm sorry that it's so confusing T_T I don't really know how to explain or word it better..? ;; what exactly did you not understand(or didn't you understand anything at allXD)?

what if you aciidentally erase the lines or the eyes?

It always blends together really badly and messes up and looks ugly like eewwww

like about the face, and the eye folds WHAT ?

well I don't go over the lines like wild xD I shade along them and then slightly adjust them with the painting idk how to explain that... you might have to redraw here and there a bit but is it that bad?
mhh I think it looks just fine in my case, and in viorie's case too '-' but well if it's not your thing then that's completely okay. Was just a suggestion C:

I mean that eye folds could be in a different color than black (or dark brown I'm not sure which color you used) because it doesn't really merge into the face, it looks like a seperate line from the face, kind of? But that also could be because of the you draw eyes, I'm not sure...
And I think the shadows on the face are too bright, you could make them darker to add depth, especially because of the dark atmosphere Ciel is in. It doesn't fit as the skin is super shiny and looks like it has almost no shadow reflection at all ; o ;
sorry does that make sense now..? ;-;
