Help with purple pansies???

Hi everybody! I have been playing acnl for a long time and I just want to make my town prettier with lots of flowers. The problem is, I'm having lots of trouble getting purple pansies and I've been trying forever All the guides I look up don't help at all because I've tried them all, and none of them work!!! So can you guys please tell me what you did to get your purple pansies? Thanks!

I've bred many.

Put a blue pansy and an orange pansy together, to get the hybrid red pansy.

When you have two, put them together, water them, and no other flowers, use fertilzer, and you will eventually get a purple pansy.

Once you have two, they breed very easily.

Remove any other red, blue, or orange pansies that come from the hybrid reds.

Remember the planting order!

okay, I have time travled a lot, and I can't even get on single hybrid red pansy. Do you think you could come to my town and give me 2 purple pansies? I'll give you 100,000 bells.

Both purple pansies and blue roses are a pain to get. Try using 'fresh' flowers from Leif's store to start off with. That might help, but I doubt it matters. It will take a loooong time, though. I've been trying to get blue roses since I started my town two weeks ago, and still nothing.

Honestly though, use fertilizer to get the hybrid reds.
