you probably know where this is going.

so isabelle (or rather the villagers) are being really stubborn and picky, but I don't know what I need to do to satisfy them. I have:

- beautiful town ordinance (tons of flowers, virtually no weeds, etc.)
- good amount of trees (pretty sure)
- fountain
- solar panel
- wind turbine
- flower arch
- campsite
- log bench
- fire pit
- modern clock
- custom design board (the board thing that you can put designs on)

all of this and isabelle is saying that my town needs more pwps. Do you know what I need? Do I actually need more pwps or a more variety of pwps?

I don't know the exact parameters the game has for perfect status, but I'd trust Isabelle if she's saying you need more PWP's, and build some more. I'd just keep building them until she isn't saying that anymore, then see what she has to say about the status of your town.

So, based on my personal experience so far, I have the following PWP's in my town (just a reference point)

3x Cobblestone Bridges
Water well
2x fountains
5x Street Lamps
Hammock
Zen Bell
4 Face-cutout standee
Lighthouse
two pyramids

For some reason, the need for more pwp's increase for me as time goes on, So I just build as much flower clocks as I can to maintain perfect town status :3

usually the easiest thing to do it just build a bunch of lightposts, they're fairly cheap and small and actually look nice in most towns. =]

I notice in both of your posts that you put a lot of lamp posts. I might try that after I am done building my statue fountain.

I wouldn't trust her, I've reached the pwp limit in my first town before and she still told me to build more, I think she just says it.

Check if you have any items (10+) on the ground, unburied gyroids count.
Count how many trees you have, I think what you need for a perfect town is 110 trees.
You said you had tons of flowers so no need to check that.
If you don't have what I said, than you need to plant more trees or take items off the ground.

She kept telling me I needed more PWPs, but actually I had too many trees. Once I cut a bunch down, I achieved the perfect town status. Why don't you try cutting like 5 trees and getting back to her?

I didn't know Isabelle was untrustworthy about the perfect town status! Guess she needs to sleep more often than the one time when she suggests the Dream Suite. ;)

I personally didn't get perfect town status until I put in an orchard, started gardening for hybrids, and tore up two of my PWPs.

Go figure eh? It's been a few months since I lost the status even with garbage, so I really question how it all works :)

I was time travelling to move Butch out so a lot of gyroids appeared in the ground that I didn't bother to dig up. Time to equip my shovel...

I think I'm gonna count my trees before I cut them to see if I'm going under or over the limit. How many trees can I have before going over the limit? I heard that it was 200 but I got that from only one source.
