i know this form must get this question a lot, but i made this account JUST to explain my situation.
so, i will admit, i'm one of the people that 'hacks' to get a perfect town. the only thing is, i usually.. mess up when i hack. like making villager homes too close together, spawning like five of an item you can't trash, etc. i also hacked to get all the gold tools and the 24-hour set, and after that I was set to make one of the kawaii towns.
not to mention i also hacked to get the highest amount of bells, which is i think... 99999 bells? maybe i forgot more nines, idk
but it really just sucked all the fun out for me. not having to grind for money, having all the villagers and furniture i needed, etc. all that really kept me going was patterns and i lost motivation for that too
ive reset my town several times but i think all the hacking i have done to my acnl cartridge is permanent, in one of my resets i refused to sell my town [you get 99999 bells if you do it] and low and behold, i go to the atm in my new town and.. tada! 99999 bells there. for no reason.
i know this is a really stupid post and its pretty much my own fault for not heeding peoples' warnings about hacking too early or at all, but does anyone have any ideas on how to revert this at all?
