Help with interior/exterior design?

Hi! I'm making a town based of the movie, Dobutsu no Mori. I have two characters, Ai and Yu. However, I have almost no idea how to decorate their houses!

I was thinking something cute for Ai's house, and Yu's house could have a ninja/japanese theme? Ai's house is one middle room and one room to the side, with a 2nd floor. Yu's house is just 2 floors. Does anyone have any furniture or exterior suggestions?

For yu's house u can use fossils beacuse of that scene from the movie and put a shovel next to a resseti model. Also You can display the bunny costume and ninja outfit in the house idk

The ice set is VERY pretty and very cool and nice to look at. How about a room of that Ai.

You're right, the ice set was the first set I ever collected! It's very pretty. But since my town is supposed to be as accurate to the movie as possible and I'm pretty sure Ai wasn't secretly queen Elsa I'm not sure if it would fit.

Ideas so far:

Yu's house has fossils, mannequins with his 3 outfits, and maybe japanese theme? His house exterior may be zen?? Still lost on Ai tho.
