Help with bridge! :c

Yesterday I demolished one of my cobblestone bridges so I could replace it with a suspension bridge.
Well, today the bridge is completely gone, so I tried to place a new bridge in the same exact spot, but Isabelle is telling me this: "There's already a bridge here, so don't you think that's enough?"

I'm so confused... Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to wait another day? x.x

Edit: I skipped ahead one day and I still can't build my bridge. :'c

Is it too close to the instrument shelter? I built it before I demolished the bridge. :c
And I don't think its because of the house, because I had a bridge built behind the house.

is there another bridge anywhere close to the one you're trying to build?

The closest bridge is the one directly across from where I want to build my new one. :c

Did you already hack your town ? I heard about invisible bridges after the amiibo update .

No hacking :c I don't even know how to hack lol

But I kind of 'fixed' the issue, but I had to put my bridges elsewhere... I built a bridge behind my house, then demolished the one in front of it, and then I was able to build the bridge in the spot I originally wanted it in. x.x

I'm going to have to do some major bridge planning... I just wanted them to all be in a straight line. :c I wish they made it easier to place these PWPs.
