HELP. WHICH TOWN SHOULD I KEEP. (Pics of maps).

Okay so I have a town I have had for like a week and the other is one I reset and made today.

BUT I CANT DECIDE ON WHICH LAYOUT. HELP ME UGH.

Give reasons and ideas on where the cafe etc could go.... Idk just help.. Hurry please. Whichever town you guys vote down, I will reset and use for a cycling town.

Or are both ugly? Should I reset some more? Ah. Too OCD for this stuff guys.

Personally, I prefer a town with a Retail closer to the dock/middle of town. It helps for selling beetles from the island. But if that's not a concern for you, I'd go with the second one. There are less narrow spaces so it'd be easy for layout and whatnot.

(Regarding the second map):
A lighthouse could go on one of those two lumps sticking out toward the sea (like the one near the bridge). And the cafe would look cute near the start of the river, where the river bends for the first time.

I don't like either of them, personally. Because the river curves a lot and takes up a ton of space. I like giant fields to run around in.

But if I had to choose, I'd say I prefer the second one. Based on the positions of the plaza, Retail, and town hall.

I totally get what you mean. I think I'm just weird. I like the little island looking area my house is in, in each one. And I like it being like isolated rather than having a boring map where it's just fields and such but I totally get you.

Do you like the villagers you have in those towns/not really want to restart? If that's the case then you should just keep what you've got. Any town map can be landscaped and transformed into something beautiful. I'm sure you can make it work the way you want

Well, I mean the first one has like 70 mil and three or four of my dreamies but I was just gonna transfer them over so it's whatever. But the second has one dreamie I just paid 11 mil for an hour ago and yeah... Maybe I'll reset the second one and get a map I like and I'll post it?? It may take like an hour tops.... But idk..

Fair enough. xD Everyone likes different things.

I prefer having a wide-open map in my TTing town because it helps me find all my villagers easily. I had a town once where the river went all over the place and I had to backtrack everywhere in order to reach all my villagers' houses to see if any of them were pinging that day.

Oh my gosh. That is true. I reset like 500 times. I have to have certain fruit and the station has to be that brown color, not the blue or green. It's blue. That's really bothering me.

This is random, but I have the exact same map as your second one, exception of the fact that my retail is where your town hall is, and my town hall is where your plaza is.
