I have two houses next to each other. They're 5 spaces apart. I want to place an outdoor chair (1x2) between them. If I place it in the exact center, there will be two spaces on either side of it, and then the houses. Is this too close? I need an answer, because if it is too close I'm still plot resetting so I can try again for a house farther away.

So let me get this straight, this is what your planing

X.--.X

With X being homes an -- being your bench, I don't think it will fit. From my experience, when your building a pwp next to a home, Isabelle will require extra space, as in the pwp needs to be at least two spaces away from the house. You might fit a street light in there, but not a bench.

From past experiences with this, probably not! I tried putting a fairy tale bench exactly how you got yours but it would fit.

Do you guys know what an outdoor chair is? It's not a bench, like I said, it's 1x2. And also like I said, there would be two spaces on either side of the chair. Like this.

X _ _ O _ _ X

With the X being houses, the O being the chair, and the _ being open space. So I still need help.

That would be fine c:
I have 2 houses in the exact same position as yours. I could try it out and ask Isabelle to put a chair there, just to make sure if it works or not^^

Oh could you try it out? Thank you! I just want it in the dead center between the two houses :D

I'm so sorry I think I got you wrong xD
I have two houses in a similar position, not the same though. X_ _ _X
I decided to ask Isabelle anyway, and that's what she said:

1 space to the left & right of the chair + 1 extra space equals 2 right? That means that it should work for you!
