Help!! Plot resetting question

So I went on acnl today on my main character and I noticed that Ribbot is moving in! This is going to totally ruin my fairytale theme I'm working on. The place he's in isn't bad at all (it could be to the right a little bit but y'know) I've never plot reseted before but I know how to.

Is it possible to plot reset when I've already opened up as my mayor? I'm really sad now Ribbot is cute but not for me

Nope, once you choose your mayor, the game will save automatically and Ribbot will be at the same place until he moves out.
