Help plot reset

This is my fourteenth new character and fauna only moves in three places

beside my house
infront of my house
by the lake


am i doing something wrong? how do i make her move to a different place? ; v ;;
diana was in the right spot the second time i tried, so i didn't think this would take os long u; v ;;​

I think powering off the system after every attempt will put her in a new spot?

Try pushing the power button and turn it off. It creates a new pattern to plot resetting. I think that's false though, I tried it, it doesn't work.

Just keep trying, it's just taken me 2 hours to get Apple in a decent place =/ She kept going in the same 3 places until just now!

I don't think there's any way to make her go to the place you want without constantly resetting. I hope you don't have to do if for too much longer. I tried to plot reset Fauna too, and she never ended up going to the place I wanted her to. You might have better luck than I did though. ^-^

I reset Dotty for two weeks and nearly went insane 0.0 keep going! Its worth it

I've been plot resetting Marshal for two weeks. He's only come close to where I want him once.

Are you sure there are other places where there's enough space for her to plot? If so, you're just having a streak of bad luck. Like others, I've also heard of the theory that turning off your game completely should help due to that supposedly creating a new pattern of plotting, but I've not had the chance to confirm this for myself. It's worth trying, though!

Just keep trying. Many, many times while plot resetting in my second town, my villagers kept plotting right in front of my house and around where I wanted to put a character's house. Poppy took me two weeks to plot reset, but hopefully plot resetting shouldn't go much longer for you ^^

Did the most recent, previous villager move out on one of those spots? Because apparently a new villager plot will appear more frequently there.

You just have to keep on trying. It took me ~6 days to get Genji in the right place.

Also, I suggest placing temporary PWPs in the places where you don't want them to plot.

As long as you don't load on mayor or any pre existing characters, you can keep plot resetting past 6 a.m. Or if you wanna stay on the same day just keep the 3DS system date on the same day.

Longest I've ever spent plot resetting was just few hours for my villagers. (Thank god they weren't so stubborn xD)

Hope your villager stop being so stubborn and plot in a decent spot soon. C:
