So, I have my ds, with animal crossing and my current town, which Im not liking, apart from the fact that I have 3 of my dream villagers.
My brother has another ds and game of animal crossing that he is giving me to make a mew towm with.
Basically what I want to do is make a new town and transfer all my dreamies, I can do this by using my brothers 3ds. But in the end I would like to have my own 3ds fc in my new town (I domt want to use my brothers)

Does anyone understand what I mean? Sorry Im really bad at explaining...

if it's a physical copy you can just take the game out of your brother's ds and put it in yours.

do the 1 year 5 days thing or whatever to move your dreamies to his town
it sounds like he doesnt want his town anymore so after you make a new town on your ds, you can TT your dreamies into your new town

My dreamies are on my copy of the game. The idea was that I made a new game (with my brothers card that hes given to me) to put my dreamies onto and keep. But I want this game to have the Fc from my 3ds which my current game has?
Im not making any sense am i?x

If you put your brother's physical copy of the game, then you will still have your fc, while still having your brother's town

Your friend code is tied to the 3DS system, not the game cartridge. Your new game will not have your brothers friend code attached to it when you play it on your 3DS.
