So I lost my Ds, and when I found it this morning I was overjoyed. But when I booted up nl, Isabelle said that merengue was in boxes. In a desperate attempt, I ripped out the cartridge, put it back in, and turned back the ds clock a day. When I loaded my town, Merengue was gone. (Which was expected)

I am determined to get her back. I know I have to cycle 16, but I had all 10 of my dreamies before she left.

Will someone tell me how I can cycle 16 while losing as few villagers as possible?? In dire need.

Cycle 1 day at a time. Talk to at least three of your villagers a day- to the maximum, to see if anyone has interest in leaving. That's all you can do. It's gonna be a slow process to get her back.

I replied to you in your other thread, it's best to cycle more than one at a time since it's hard to get a 10th to leave so then when you have 2 you're cycling it's a 1 in 5 chance the one you will want to leave will ping. Good luck ~ my friends were able to cycle this way

Perhaps one of the most helpful guides to cycling. I just went through a cycle in my town with at least 6 villagers I wanted to keep. It can be tedious, but if you stick to simple time travel increments as listed in the guide and check all of your villagers, there's nothing to worry about. Just finished, and not one of the villagers I wanted to keep left. Sometimes I was too lazy to check a villager and went forward a day to try again and still, never came close to losing one. Best advice I have would be that the guide is helpful, and while it may take time, I can promise you it works. :)

It's easiest to cycle with 3 or more spots. I'm so sorry that happened!!!! :(

I'm so sorry! Soemthing simular happened to me. I time travelled too far and isabelle said merengue was in boxes. I sent her to my cycling town but she left there as well ;( it took me a month to complete the cycle, cycling 30 mins a day. I finally finished it 2 weeks ago now I'm waiting for someone to sell her
