Help me with my island layout

Hi everyone! I'm struggling with what my island layout should be, to the point that I can't play anymore! I'm thinking about resetting, so can someone send in some maps and a sort of layout plan? It'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

it honestly kinda depends on what type of island u want. like, a more urban/city-like island will have a different layout than a forest-y/rural island.

My suggestion is to get a map where the residential services and the airport are fairly close together. Then you can make that your urban area. I've seen some maps where both of them are to the far left or the far right

I don't have that map. You could try googling it or looking at the shared your island map thread that's pinned in this forum. My advice is that if you are so focused on perfection, you are going to have an unpleasant time since this game is so RNG heavy. And ideas you might have in your head might not look so great when you finally terraform and layout the furniture. I find it more enjoyable to just roll with it.
