Help me with my bedroom!

Hello everyone!

I need your help c:
I'm planning on making my rooms all have a 'function' in my house (living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, garden, study) I got my room upstairs now, and that'll be my bedroom.

I believe there are plenty of people doing the same thing to their house as I'm planning to, so I'd like to see what you did with your bedroom since I can't really think of anything. A specific interior theme would be nice, but it's not a must.
If you don't have this kind of room, ideas are always welcome! You can also give me your DA so I can check it out myself c:

There's just a mannequin in this room at the moment, and my walls are the standard walls when you first have a room. (common floor and wall I believe)

I really like my mixed stripe and polka bedroom in my upstairs room. Lots of possibilities!

For my mayor, she had the princess set for a long time, with a few pieces added to make it almost a partial study.
For my first alt, his bedroom is almost like a studio apartment, as it is above my "7/11". Mostly sloppy furniture.
For my second alt, his whole house is nautical themed, so his bedroom is like a tropical island. One or two mermaid pieces, lots of Island stuff.

Just some simple ideas to share with you.

• Play around with certain sets you like the look of normally, by taking them to Cyrus and customizing them.
• I often like to mismatch the floor or wall from the furniture set I use. To be honest, completely one-set rooms are dreadfully boring to me.
• I also plan on placing a mannequin in my bedroom! I plan on dressing it to reflect me outside of my in-game mayor.

I love the alpine series for a bedroom. the dresser and bed are too cute! but like Mayor Em said, play around and have fun with it! adding in pieces that don't fit the set but pair nicely with it are better for a more realistic-looking room, even if it doesn't score the highest points with the HHA c:
