Help me plot reset Chief guys!!! YAY DONE IT!

I'm onto my very last dreamie here guys, and it's just down to the dreaded plot reset!

I've done everything right... pwps all over the map, there is only one area Chief can go, he'll be next to Skye and the river (both which my villagers tend to like!) Only problem is he keeps going one space too far forward, or a few spaces too far back!

I've actually seen him in the right place about 5 times... on the startup screen, but I know that changes once you load your mayor, so you can't trick me that way game!

I guess I'm just asking if you guys can send me a little patience and luck... cos I don't have any luck rn it seems, and after a full day of reseting yesterday, my patience is drying up too!

Also any tricks/tips are very appreciated, regardless of whether I've already heard of them (which I probably have!)

Thanks! And I will, it just depends how long! I'm very particular about my villager placement so having Chief wrong will wreck my whole map... and I already had to 16 villager cycle him once when I found out my original plan was never going to work!

Sometimes turning off your DS completely kind of 'resets' what path your villager will move in. And if you see him there in the loading screen, it's really hopeful.

I plot reset for 5 days for Tom just to find out I couldn't even plot where I wanted him. That was a bummer.

Yeah I am doing that, though I've never found it actually works for me unfortunately! Yeah, he was literally there the first time I loaded the game... so I thought it was gonna be a quick reset lol! I just wish my luck would extend to seeing it with a new character!

Ugh that is the worst, same thing happened to me and Diana, which eventually led me to changing my whole layout!!

I have Chief! I got my ideal spot for his home (besides Fang's house) for 5 hours (breaks included) and I was even outside my home when I did some plot-resetting. Best of luck to you! Just remember that you should start a new file first before loading your existing files. I almost did that mistake when plot-resetting Chief when I'm almost fed up.
