For future reference, if you accidentally pick your mayor, turn off your 3DS immediately and if you are quick enough it'll be fine. Though I have heard it can get you closer to town corruption but I've done it quite a few times and my town is fine.

For me it's pretty much game over when a dreamie moves in front of my house. I would get rid of her, but that doesn't mean you have to.

In my opinion you'd best reset again, I had the problem with rosie she moved onto my hybrids in front of my house, it was a new town so it wasnt a huge problem, but I decided to go through the cycle and it took me 2 months, so when I got her back she moved in the same spot, im not sure if this was a coincidence but they seem to do this alot, so I'd just reset

I think the best solution is to move her out and find another villager to replace her. You'll miss her, but I'm sure there's another villager that you'll (almost) like as much.

Ugh that's tough. I did the EXACT same thing with Jacques, and to be honest I just couldn't deal with it. It made me so grumpy that after a while I just didn't want him in my town anymore, and didn't want to bother cycling through either. Maybe if you put up a screenshot we can help you with landscape suggestions, but you might decide to have a different villager instead of Pashmina? Anyways, I feel your pain

I'm thinking of getting Agnes if I get too hung up with Pashmina's house placement. I've had Agnes before and I'm close to cycling her out of the 16 villager cycle.

Sorry to hear what happened with Jacques! It really does suck whenever it happens. :c
