In the end, I had to go to bed. I logged onto my game forgetting what had happened and Stitches was gone. Leonardo *thank goodness* asked to leave, leaving me with 8 villagers. I got both Skye and Lucky from camp, so that was quite relieving. I love Skye so she's a keeper, but Lucky was taken in to help me cycle to get him back. But at least my town has one more helpful space now, I guess! Baha.
