help me design a part of my town!

hey! So I've decided to go for a natural, wood-sy feel in my town and for the most part, I'm really happy with it. BUT for the area that INSPIRED the rest of the town, I'M NOT! I have a cabin that is going to be a hotel themed house right next to the campsite and I just can't seem to get happy with this area for whatever reason! So I've updated my dream address and I would really appreciate if you clever people would take a look at the area and share ideas!



In the picture above, the area in red is the area I'm really not happy with! The yellow is what I'm actually pretty okay with. This whole under section a little after the yellow bench is supposed to be a very thick forest, that sort of aesthetic. Please take a look! Every input is appreciated!

I'm too tired to take a look (maybe tomorrow) but heres some foresty ideas:

- you can never go wrong with a mushroom and lucky clover design
- Cedar trees are a must
- if you want more of a ominous forest add in some black hybrids
- not a fan for emo? Brighten things up with a pop of color here and there
- Log benches are cute in the forest, so is a diary (Take the trash book like thing that you can find on the ground) and put it near the bench as a cozy reading nook.
- Surround your cabin with cedar's and holly bush starts, then mix in pink,yellow, and purple tulips for that extra something.
- Make it fun! Make it so that people will find inspiration from it, if you don't like something, find a way to change it to meet your needs!

First of all, very nice town!
So I'm at the area where you dislike, and to fit with the forest theme, here's what I thought up
If you have the firepit PWP, you could set somewhere between the yellow bench and geyser. Around the fire pit, you can place tree stumps around it, kinda giving that "bonfire" feel. Cedar trees around it would look even better! Maybe the geyser wouldn't look well with it, but perhaps there could be another area where you can place it. I actually had this idea for my town, but my villagers are too "all over the place" and it wouldn't go well with how I placed the paths. Only a suggestion, I'm sure others will come up with ones that will appeal to you

ohhh I love these! I unfortunately set the campsite too low and cedars don't grow :/
I'm also going for an orange/black/purple/white flower theme in my house and it'd be v interesting if all the flowers suddenly started to grow black in that area... and I had a story idea for the Inn Owner...
Ugh I know! The only reason I'm keeping Renee and Monique around is bc they're the personalities that need to give me the PWPs!

The area in yellow looks alright. maybe add a tiki torch or a bonfire pwp? or a log bench pwp maybe.

Thank you! I've seen towns with this idea really well executed but I wish they would have done a smaller fire pit! I think the one in game as PWP is just too big. Thank you so much for your ideas! Maybe i'll put it down to see how it looks though!
