I have an African themed room in my house in my town, but I need some decoration tips.

The things I have in this room at the moment are:
- exotic wall
- tent rug
- a tribal mask
- a djimbe drum
- a go board (idk)
- a mountain bike
- a basket of bananas
- an exotic table
- an exotic screen
- an exotic chair
- two beacon fire
- a stair dresser
- a bug zapper
- a pot
- a cow skull
- a telescope
- some plants
- and of course, K.K. Safari playing on a cd player

You can see this room for yourself if you want, just visit my Dream Adress (it's in my signature).

Anyway, I will make this room to the largest size, and that means I will need more furniture. Does anyone have any idea of some furniture that might be good for this African themed room?

I might display a mannequin in this room, so does anyone have suggestions of what to dress this mannequin with?

Thank you.

Toss the go board, first.

Next...maybe some jomon pottery?

As for the mannequin... Cow bone and grass skirt? Topless would probably be best, as shirts don't seem to fit.

...perhaps the full Explorer Outfit (Hat, shirt and pants) plus some hiking boots for the mannequin?

ETA: also, as Ettienne pointed out, don't use the go board. Same with the Exotic screen/chair/table/chest. They probably won't go with the African theme you are trying to create.

Thank you for your tips!

I'm ditching the exotic furniture, but I kinda think the exotic wall fits the African theme. I want the room to feel like an African crafts shop or something, so I don't want too much nature in the room if you know what I mean.

The go board is out without a doubt. ;)

I'm definitely considering dressing the mannequin with a cow bone, but grass skirt feels like Hawaii. And I don't want something too stereotypical. What do you think about a brown bar shirt? It's pretty neutral, but it's still pretty colorful.

Do you think modern wood furniture would be good? Wood furniture could be associated with Africa, or what do you all say? :)
