i'm torn between Coco and Lilyvale. i thought Coco was adorable, simple, sweet, and probably very uncommon. i just think it'd be so friggin' adorable if i had a villager be all 'omg welcome to Coco!' just sounds so cutesy. it also matches the sort of 'fairytale' theme i'm going to be doing quite nicely. however; Lilyvale is more.. 'prestigious'? and more of a classic town name, but again, probably pretty uncommon. i also love Lilies, they're my favorite flower. and 'vale' sounds very beautiful at the end.

but i'm a little unsure. opinions? :c

I agree, I really like Lilyvale it has that classic feel to it. And it sounds unique, I haven't heard of anyone use it yet. Coco sounds more like it could be a pets name to be honest :x

I like Lilyvale the best :)
It sounds so pretty, and there are lilies in the game as well!

funny, my bird's name is coco (short for coconut but we never call him that)

i like lilyvale more, the name kind of "flows" better.

I like lilyvale, it's original. My town name, Port, is not really original, so make the best choice while you still have time.

wow, Lilyvale is winning by a landslide. everyone likes it better lol. i do really like it, it's growing on me. i think i'm going to go with Lilyvale. i appreciate everyone's opinions, it helps me more than you know.

If you like the -vale at the end, why not mix and match, forming Cocovale? Or Cocoville? And, um... Cocolily? I personally like Coco better, but I definitely see the appeal for Lilyvale, it being more of a town's name. If you do choose Lilyvale, you could decorate it with orchards of lilies!

hmm. that's a good idea, but i'm not liking the sound of the two mixed. Coco has grown on me so much though, i've been using it for the majority of the times i've been restarting today, with Lilyvale sprinkled in here and there. i actually find it cuter when the villagers say the word 'Coco'. it's so short and simple. it reminds me of chocolate and sweets. this is really a tough call. on one hand, i really want to go with Coco because of it's charm, simplicity, and cute-appeal, but on the other hand, Lilyvale is classic and town-y, not to mention original. grrr. why does this have to be so complicated.

nope.

gah. i wish i could just pick one and go with it, but truly the smart thing to do would be to think about it for a bit. it's one of those permanent things that you can't ever change.

I like lilyvale still because if there's a villager named coco that moves in, then it would become really ironic

I think I would modify Coco to Cocotown - that's super cute! Lilyvale is nice too but I tend to go for cute/weird over more traditional sounding names. My town is called Goji. ^.^

I like Cocotown. JUST BE AWARE: There is a villager named Coco. I have her and I love her but some people find her creepy.

thanks for the opinions, it's interesting to see what people think. sadly, i'm not a fan of Cocotown. i've never liked adding 'town' or 'city' at the end of my town names. not sure why, haha. i like simple one word town names. which is odd because i find Lilyvale to be appealing. and yes, i know there is a villager named Coco, i don't mind at all. it's just a coincidence.

i gotta be honest here.. i'm leaning a lot more towards Coco. it's cute/weird like Omnika said, and i kinda like that over traditional.

I prefer Coco. I have seen so many 'Rosevale' 'Lilyvale' type names and over time you'll get bored of it. I have never seen Coco before. It's cute, flexible. Quite frankly I wish I'd thought of it.
